CORPUS - BASED MATERIAL

 Hello my sweet readers👀

Today I am presenting you corpus based material that I prepared with my friend Rezzan . Corpus can be defined as a collection of texts. Although the definition is short, its task is very diverse. First of all, the material we have prepared is vocabulary focused one and will be applied to preparation students at intermediate level. Let's list the objects that the material will provide:

My students will be able to discuss the collocations of target words in their schemata.

My students will be able to search for specific knowledge in their own.

My students will be able to use Corpus systematically.

My students will be able to define the words after they acquired enough knowledge.

My students will be able to collaborate.

My students will be able to practice the knowledge they have acquired, according to the degree of difficulty.

The most important thing to achieve these objectives is to make sure that students have the devices to do research. If you have any problems with this, the material will not have achieved its goal. Alternatively, those who have a device and those who don't can work together, but in this case there will be weaknesses in the autonomous learning objective. 

Let's talk about how we prepared the material and what we went through. It seemed very boring at first. After we started the worksheet, we realized that we were wrong. We prepared our material using Canva and everything was very diverse. Colors, shapes, pictures, and we used Skell as a corpus to access the texts. It was easy to use it. Then we came to the end of the assignment. After completing our edits and final checks, we put this material in our bag for future use.
